Experience a taste of Myanmar
Myanmar (Burma) shares borders with India, Bangladesh, China, Laos and Thailand. Burmese cuisine is inspired and influenced by the spices, seasonings, ingredients and cooking styles of its neighbors. It is the way that these ingredients are combined, and the recipes handed down over generations from mother to daughter or son, which makes Burmese dishes unique.
We have brought our favorite recipes and prepared them as we do back home. Experience the taste of lovingly prepared homemade Burmese food filled with freshness and diverse flavors; it will leave you wholly fulfilled. We hope you enjoy our food as much as we enjoy sharing a part of our culinary culture with you.
Dagon is the ancient name of the principal city of Burma (Myanmar), currently known as Yangon. It was founded and named Dagon in the early 6th century by the Mon, who dominated the lower part of Burma. It has evolved around the sacred pilgrimage site, the Shwedagon Pagoda, embedded on our logo, from a small fishing village to the current metropolis of Myanmar.
